Introducing the Designers Marketplace “Look of the Month’…

Each month the beautiful people of Abuja come out to our events in some really colourful and often interesting get ups. Some of these are note-worthy and many are attention grabbing.

We are grateful for the effort that visitors to our events put into their appearance, and the thought that goes into their wardrobe, and so we here at Designers Marketplace would like to thank our visitors for keeping our events alive and interesting.

Each month we will select what we consider to be the DMP “Look of The Month” and the owner of that look will win N10,000 worth of Designers Marketplace vouchers to spend at any of our events or at any vendor store.

BEZ: Unplugged and Album Signing.

The who-is-who of Abuja was at the Silverbird Entertainment Center on Sunday, 25th September for an album signing and unplugged performance by Bez, powered by iBlend. If you don't know the musical phenomenon that is Bez Idakula, then I don't know what country you have been living in. Having recently released his debut album "Super Sun", with an album launch party in Lagos, Bez did not forget his Abuja fanbase and hosted his album signing and unplugged performance at the Platinum Lounge of the Silverbird Entertainment Center, Abuja. There were performances by sultry songstress Lindsey (Drift Away; The 90s Song), and Cobhams Asuquo, music impresario, producer and owner of CAMP records under which Bez is currently signed. Cobhams also played the drums for Bez's set. It certainly was an interesting evening, leaving all who attended excited and very pleasantly entertained. I can confidently state that the unassuming musical genius that is Bez, is the next big thing on the African continent and he will certainly have a worldwide reach and appeal.  I'm glad I've got my signed copy of his debut album... I'm thinking "collectors item". Lol. (Pictures coming shortly...)
